The Law of Attraction


Everything you need to use the Law of Attraction successfully is laid out below.

We have provided you with the different stages of The Law of Attraction; who is responsible for each; what the pitfalls are in getting what you ask for; how to consciously use the Law of Attraction and what is required to successfully manifest what you really want, with some tools to help you along the way.

You will find links to other areas of the site. We have articles that will show you how to uncover the beliefs and feelings that are preventing you from manifesting what you want. You will find information on how to deal with your beliefs and the emotions that aren’t supporting you and how to use affirmations and gratitude in a way that supports what you want to achieve.

We believe that you will find the information so useful that you will want to read it over and over again, finding new information every time. It will become your reference to successfully achieving those things you want to experience in life.

Living in this physical reality causes you to have desires from the ‘contrasts’ you experience. There is no way around this. What we want is for you to experience the reality of your desires that come from those contrasts.

The Law of Attraction is a Universal Law. It exists and we are all affected by it, whether we realise it or not.

How do we engage the Law of attraction?


We ‘Ask’ the universe for what we want through our thoughts and feelings. This is how we engage the Law of Attraction. We create our own world with our thoughts and feelings.

“Your thoughts and feelings are Cause and what manifests is Effect”

You should think of thoughts as seeds. Each one has the potential to grow into an experience. You nurture each thought (seed) with the attention you put on it. Through the repetition of thinking the same thought you create a belief. Your thoughts and beliefs create your emotions and feelings and these are the ingredients for the fertiliser that help you grow your seed.

Our Conscious mind is unaware of more than 85% of what is held in our Subconscious, where our memories and beliefs are held. We draw on these when we make decisions that create our circumstances and how we perceive the world around us.

Because we are unaware of so many of our thoughts, we rarely know the beliefs they create and in turn the feelings and emotions they produce. This is why so many of the seeds we plant don’t grow as we expect them to.

Blocks to getting what we really want

Everything you experience in your life is a vibrational match to your own thoughts and beliefs - without exception!

“As it is within, so it is without”

Keep in mind that nothing we experience here on this planet was ever created without it first being a thought, whether it be something as small as a safety pin or as complex as a Nuclear reactor, it was always a thought first.

Thoughts are powerful things. They can enrage us in a moment; they can compel us to do a variety of things on the spur of the moment; they can help us to show compassion; to feel love and to achieve things some ‘thought’ impossible!

Knowing this, if we can take control of our thoughts, we can influence and take control of our lives and ‘mould it’ as we want.

However, because our thoughts are influenced by our beliefs and habitual thinking, they sometimes create ‘blocks’ that prevent us receiving what we ask for.

Habitual thinking is just something we do routinely when something occurs. An example could be, we hear the letter box and we immediately think, BILLS! If this brings up negative thoughts, try changing your thought or affirming “I have always managed to pay my way and this time is no different. I am grateful and thankful that I have always been able to find the money to pay my bills”.

By applying this to anything that would normally incur a negative thought, we can change our habitual thinking and responses to events that don’t please us, eventually causing us to have positive thoughts when these events occur.

Affirmations are a really great way to help you change your negative thinking. The Affirmations article in the resources section has links to lists of Affirmations on a variety of subjects. You can go to the article by clicking here.

Beliefs are more subtle. We rarely know our true beliefs because they are often developed when we are young or through our experiences, as we develop without being challenged. We often take on the beliefs of others because we may not have our own take on a particular subject, or we just see them as an authoritive person.

Beliefs are really ‘a thought you keep thinking!’ and it is only the beliefs you hold that control your thoughts. So, if a belief is only a thought you keep thinking, it must be true to say “if I change my thoughts, I can change my beliefs?”

We can use whatever positive thought suits us best, even if you don’t believe it’s true to start with, because what we are doing is ‘making it true’ for us. It will seem strange at first, but the more you do it the easier it will become!

There was a time when many believed we couldn’t put a man on the moon; that those who thought we could send pictures across great expanses electronically should reside in a mental institution, or that man would never fly. But there were those among us that ‘believed’ we could and they proved all those doubters wrong! ‘Ask believing and you will receive’.

Beliefs are one of the main reasons that prevents the Law of Attraction working successfully. To help you uncover your own beliefs and feelings click here. Use Muscle testing to reveal those limiting beliefs and use either affirmations, Tapping (EFT) or Theta Healing to help you change them.

However, some beliefs may have an emotional connection, for example anxiety, so to alleviate these I have also provided some information here. Use Tapping on specific emotions to help rid yourself of those emotions that are preventing you from achieving your desires.

Law of Attraction - The Basic Steps:

The Law of attraction has three basic steps: (Ask, Believe, Receive)

1.    We ask for what we want (Our part)
2.    The Universe delivers (Not our part)
3.    We receive (our part)

Let’s look at the steps we are responsible for, 1 and 3.

Asking for what you want

Step 1. We ask for what we want.

We often ask for things without even realising it.

Over the course of our waking day we are met with all sorts of ‘contrasting’ events that we may agree with, or may cause us to ‘want’ something different.

As an example, we get into our car to go to work. The car doesn’t start and when it does it blows out smoke, makes an awful noise and splutters up the road. At this very moment, whether we are aware of it or not, we are probably in a contrast of no longer wanting the car we have; we want a newer more reliable model. We have now sent off our request, most likely without even realising it!

As we engage the LOA through our thoughts and feelings, by becoming aware and taking control of these, we can take control of what comes into our experience.

Knowing this gives us control over what we ask for and want to attract. The issue here and another reason why we don’t always get what we ask for is ‘We don’t ask precisely’ for what we want. If I ask you to write down three things you want, you may write something like:

1.    I want a new car
2.    I want more money
3.    I want a better relationship

Now the Universe will do whatever it can to bring your requests into your experience, however in the above example we haven’t really given it much to go on.

It might deliver you a new car but it could be in worse condition than the one you already have!
Now let’s look at these three again:

1.    I want a reliable Ford Mondeo, 2.0Ltr, blue with leather upholstery;
2.    I want an income in excess of £25,000 per year
3.    I want to be in a relationship with someone who appreciates me as much as I do them; loves me as I do them; is independent; financially secure and has similar interests.

Now that makes it a lot easier for the universe to bring you what you ‘really’ want because you have been more precise about what you actually ‘want’.

If you went to a car showroom to purchase a car, you would choose one that met with certain criteria. You wouldn’t say to the salesperson ‘I want a car’ and leave it at that. You would specify what you want; it has to have four doors, Air Conditioning with a sun roof. I think you get the idea.

This is where so many people get it wrong. So remember, be as precise as you can.

Letting in your request

The next stumbling block is at step 3.

Once you have asked, you have to focus on what you want and the result. Not what caused you to ask; when you focus on the cause you are focusing on what you don’t want.

If you have asked for a better relationship because you didn’t feel loved or appreciated, you have to step away from those feelings and focus on what you want. A relationship where your partner makes you feel loved and appreciated.

If you focus on ‘wanting’ a new car because the one you have keeps letting you down, that is what you are asking for and that is exactly what the universe will give you, more reasons for ‘wanting’ a new car.

Why? Because the universe will give you more of the things that caused you to want and not deliver what you believed you have asked for!

This applies to anything you ever ask for. You must always move away from the reasons that caused you to ask. These are things you don’t want.

So now your job is to ‘believe’ and ‘feel’ as though you have it in your reality; give thanks for it as if you already have it. Forget the reasons why you asked for the new car because that has been done so can be pushed out of the way. You should give thanks to the car you already have. Be grateful that it has served you well as these are things you do want with your new car, reasons to be grateful and thankful. This will also enforce and aid the delivery of your new car as you intended.

Give thanks to the relationship you had. It served you well because it made you realise what was important to you.

This can be very hard to start with especially with our example, because your car may still be causing you problems. Treat your request like going on holiday. You’ve chosen where you want to go; booked the flights, the hotel and paid for it. Now all you have to do is wait for the date to arrive! That anticipation keeps you focused on the result; you feel good thinking about the things you will do on holiday; the people you might meet; the sightseeing and the healthy glow you hope to return with! Treat your wants in exactly the same way. You don’t even have to focus on the new car. You can focus on anything that makes you happy, because this keeps you in ‘alignment’, ready to receive your desires. And it prevents you from focusing on why you asked for it in the first place.

Act as if you already have what you have asked for

One of the traps that many fall into that prevent the Law of attraction from working is they fail to follow one basic rule:

“The Law of Attraction says that which is like unto itself is drawn”

This means that you must first be what you want then do the necessary to achieve it before you can have it.

For example if you want a new car, just pretend you have it, make believe. Pretend sitting it. See yourself driving it; feel the emotions you will have when it is your experience. Why not go and test drive one exactly like the one you want. The Law of Attraction can bring you anything you can hold in your mind as if being true to you.

Follow this basic rule and anything can be yours.

Remember that pretending isn’t about changing the world or changing others, it is about changing you.  

Be what you desire. Do whatever you have to in order to believe and feel as if you already have what you want, bringing you closer to your desires and you will experience them in your reality.

Your Emotions are your Guidance System, Use them!

Our emotions are our inner guidance system. They tell us if we are connected or disconnected to what we have asked for. They are like an inner wisdom that can tell us many things about our experiences  - if we pay attention to them. They are valuable teachers and should be used all the time as a guide.

Whatever our experience, there are really only two emotions that you will feel, one that feels good (better) and the other which will feel bad (worse). For example, you may have an experience that makes you feel angry, but this could be better than feeling revenge. Sometimes releasing anger can make us feel better, whereas feeling vengeful can cause us to keep things bottled up inside, making us feel worse.

Blame can feel better than anger; worry can feel better than blame; doubt can feel better than worry.

If you feel bad on any given subject or experience, just find a pleasing thought; one that makes you feel happy, makes you feel good.

The emotions you feel between wanting and not having is your emotional variance to the experiencing of your desire. Look for those emotions, thoughts and feelings that narrow the gap towards what you want.

Check to see where you are at the moment on the 'Emotional Scale' below. Be sure to clearly identify your emotion. This will be your starting point. If you’re not sure, go one further down the scale. Then acknowledge it. Write it down, "I am feeling “emotion”.  This will help you acknowledge it and accept it as being in your experience.

Look for thoughts, activities or anything that makes you feel better, to move up the scale.

Make a list of the things that have moved you up and keep them handy. If you start to slide back down, take out your list and use it to move back up.

Your emotions are a great indication of how you feel on a particular subject or experience, so try and use them as much as you can.

NOTE: If you have an experience that creates a negative emotion, use the tapping process to help relieve it. (Use the Tapping tab above).

You can also use a scale from 0 to 10 to measure how you feel, then find a thought that can bring you down the scale. So 0 would be Happy and 10 powerless.

Let’s take again the previous example of the car.
We get up, wash, have breakfast and get dressed while listening to some great tunes on the radio. We feel great because we know we are also going out for lunch with some friends at work, we’re at 0 on the scale.

So we get in the car and it doesn’t start; immediately we think we are going to be late for work, we jump straight to 8 on the scale; you keep trying to start the car without success, up the scale to 9; should I call someone, my boss and let her know I might be late; You call your boss who is thankful that you called and tells you not worry, just get in as soon as you can, down the scale to 7; you could go by bus or even take a taxi; down the scale to 6; the car starts, you’re at a 5. Then on the way, think to yourself that I’ve had this car a long time and in all that time it has never let me down, down the scale to 4. I’ve really had my money’s worth out of this trusty old thing, down the scale to 3. Perhaps it’s time for a change, and off goes your request for a new car. You stick on your favourite CD, down the scale to 2; and imagine what driving the new car you asked for would be like, the sun comes out and you move to 0 on the scale!

The more you monitor your emotions on any given subject or situation, using your thoughts to move down the scale, the better you will become at it. Practice as much as you can.

Play a game with it. While you are watching the television and the News comes on, check your emotions on any of the reports; while talking to friends or work colleagues see how you feel or make a game up! Whichever you decide, check your emotions and if they don’t feel good, try and move your thoughts to something that feels better. Switch channels on the TV or change the subject of a conversation.

Gratitude

Expressing gratitude for what you already have is a great way to move down the scale and also to bring you in alignment with what you want. Create a gratitude journal. Write down the things you are grateful for that you already have in your life.

Gratitude is an important and effective way to bring you into alignment with what you want. Please take some time to read the document on how to use a gratitude journal and how to apply its use here or use the Resource tab from the main menu above.

Visualisation

You can also use visualisation to help. Imagine what driving the new car would be like, the nice colour, the smell of the leather, the performance and reliability. Or with the new relationship, think about what you would do with your new partner; going to the movies; to the theatre, having a nice cosy meal in a restaurant you both like. Just keep your thoughts on things that make you happy, remembering to focus on the result and not the reasons why you asked for it in the first place.

As you visualise, check in with your emotions as you do so, making sure your emotions are positive, or you may end up with negative results.

Try acting out what it would be like to have what you have asked for. While shopping if you see something you can’t afford, say to yourself “I could buy that if wanted to”. Don’t think about the lack of money. Stick up pictures of the car you have asked for; pretend you are sitting in it and driving it. Do whatever makes you feel like you already own it and keeps you feeling good.

You’re The Producer, Director, Script Writer the Movie Maker!

You visualise all the time. When you daydream, when you react to situations, experiences; when you interact with others, the thoughts that you think, influenced by your beliefs and emotions build up images or scenarios and their possible outcomes.

Your eyes are the cameras, your subconscious mind the recorder and your thoughts the projector. You are the script writer, producer, director, actor; you create the sceneries, choose the locations, choose what you will be doing and with who. You create the characters, their every detail. You are the costume designer, props manager and the editor.

You wrote the story you are now living.

What movie are you playing in your mind today? What is the movie you play most of the time? Is it of lack? Is it about what’s wrong with your relationships? Is it about how bad your job is?

Whatever your current movie, you can change it around by changing your thoughts, beliefs and emotions. Edit it, change the script. Make changes on money, health, relationships. Change the things you no longer want to experience. The changes you make today will start playing out tomorrow. You created the movie of your life so you can change it.

Vision Board

A Vision board is simply a board that is used to stick up images of the things you want. It is a powerful way to use visualisation and have the Law of Attraction work for you.

A vision board is a collage of pictures depicting your goals, dreams and the things you want to attract in your life. It is therefore important to use the exact image of what you want to attract, as it will become part of your reality. It is no different to being as precise as you can when asking the Universe for things you want. So make the images as specific as you can. If you want a specific car, make sure the picture is exactly the type, model and colour you want.

Your Vision Board should be placed somewhere you will see it regularly. Use it as your reminder of the things you want.

A vision board can be a fun thing to do and a great way to keep your thoughts focused and help you in your visualisation. It can also help you play the movie you want to see!

Bring yourself into alignment with what you want

I want you to understand that there are two parts to you. There is the part of you here experiencing this ‘Physical’ reality. Then there is the bigger ‘non-physical’ part of you that is listening to your requests, coordinating with the universe to bring opportunities, events, people, towards you, drawing in what you have asked for.

Use your emotions as a guide to tell you how you feel about these or any signs, synchronicities from the Universe to move you in the direction of what you have asked for. Then take action.

If you have asked for something and you have feelings of anger, despair, jealousy, resentment, fear, worry then you are not in alignment with who you really are and what it is you have asked for. If on the other hand you feel elation, anticipation, love, passion, excitement, happiness, then you are in alignment with who you really are and your larger non-physical part that is pure, unconditional love and what you have asked for.

When your non-physical part joins the vibration of your request and you don’t, then you feel the discord. It is by using your emotions as your guidance system that you can determine if you are in alignment or not. The emotions you feel between the having and not having is your emotional variance. Use the emotional scale above to narrow that gap.

If you never experienced another contrast that caused you to ask, then you would never expand on your experiences. But the Universe isn’t like that. We are here on the leading edge of thought, expanding our experiences constantly whether we are aware of it or not. Making new requests through our thoughts born from the contrasts we experience. There will never be a situation where contrasts won’t cause you to ask. When you ask and you feel, love, excitement, interest, passion, elation, you have expanded and your non-physical part has expanded with you.

When you are thinking thoughts that make you feel good, using gratitude and visualization, it is to bring yourself into ‘alignment’ with that ‘non-physical’ part of you. This then creates a ‘cooperative’ alliance between your physical and non-physical.

You are ‘perfect’ as you are. It is only your contrasts and external influences that you allow in that make you feel as if you are not, and take you out of alignment.

This is a very important area to understand as we often criticise ourselves and therefore our non-physical part, feeling anger, doubt, guilt, blame and resentment. Avoid these feelings. Notice how you feel when you experience these emotions. Those feelings are telling you if you’re in alignment or not. You attract like for like. If you feel negativity then that is what you are attracting.

The Universe is only a source of ‘well-being’ and constantly bringing you what you ask for. If you are not getting what you want then this is your indicator that you are not in alignment with your non-physical part and the things you want.

Everything that you have ever asked for from the minute you were born that hasn’t ever materialised is still waiting for you to become aligned with it and your larger non-physical part and once you do it will flow right into you reality. 

Stay in alignment with ‘who you really are’ by being truly grateful for what you have; thinking thoughts that make you happy; thoughts of love, thoughts of passion, thoughts of abundance instead of lack; giving your best to others and yourself at all times; avoiding criticism, doubt, blame, guilt, anger and resentment.

“What we put in, is what we get out; garbage in garbage out, ;love in, love out !”

Your thoughts and feelings are the language of your non-physical’ self. The non-physical-self does not process information as this is done by your conscious self. So what we put in is what we get out. It can’t distinguish between what you perceive as being good or bad. You do this by using your emotions to tell you what feels good and what feels bad in any given situation.

If it is a better relationship you want, look back and see if any of your relationships had any similarities and qualities you didn’t like or want. This will give you an insight into the kind of relationship you are aligned to.

You will probably have heard it said “that you have to love yourself before someone else can love you”. The reason for this is simple - our ideal partner is a reflection of us. In other words you have aligned with the partner that is in your experience.

You can do whatever you like to bring yourself into alignment, pat your dog, take a walk in the woods; listen to your favourite music, watch a comedy. It doesn’t matter as long as it is something that feels better. When you are in alignment you could ask for something and never think of it again and the Universe will bring it to you.

Are you open to receiving?

Watch out for the little things, compliments, someone offering help; offering to pay for your meal, check how you feel about accepting these, accepting things in general.

These may seem like little gestures but they will indicate if you are open to receiving. Use your emotions as a guide to how you feel. You might have a belief that is working against you receiving gifts! Use one of the muscle testing methods to check, “I am open to receiving” or “I am open to receiving (name of what it is)”.   

When you are in alignment you will start to notice ‘little changes’ in your experience; friends or acquaintances that aren’t in alignment with you will be in your experience less; you will meet others who are looking for the same things in life, bringing you closer to what you have asked for; a job position may catch your eye, a book or even an event. Look out for these.

Pay attention to your intuitive messages; synchronicities; ‘signs’ from the Universe that have been sent to help you along the way and give assurance that you’re on the 'right' path. As you align yourself with the Universe and open yourself up to receiving the things you have asked for, they will appear.

Take action

Once you have asked for what you want, your non-physical part will conspire with the Universe to draw you nearer to the things you have asked for. The Universe will send you ‘signs’. It might be a book that catches your eye, an event, an invitation for a drink, a lunch date or an introduction to someone you’ve never met but who has a connection to what you have asked for. They could come in a variety ways. Watch out for them and then ‘take action’.

If you’re in alignment, the action will be almost automatic because you will know. If you’re not, you might have to mull it over for a while.

If you don’t take action don’t worry as you will be sent others. The downside might be a delay in your request coming into your experience.

The more you consciously use the LOA and become aware of your thoughts in your every day life, the more you will start to notice little things that come your way unexpectedly. The synchronicities, the ‘signs’ sent from the Universe. Your emotions and intuition will send you messages and you will know if you need to take action or not.

Keep a record

When you start using the Law of Attraction, write down the things you have asked for and be as descriptive and as precise as you can. Colours, smells, shape, size. If it’s a house, how many rooms, what the kitchen will be like, the look and feel of the bedrooms and its location.

Keeping a record will help focus your thoughts on what you want and remind you of exactly what you asked for and help in your visualisation. The better your description, the more vivid you can make your visualisation.

Write down what it will feel like having it in your experience. Apply these to your visualisation.

If you know the contrast that caused you to ask, then write that down as well. I want more money because I need to pay for a new boiler; I need a larger car because I have a baby on the way.

Keep the requests and the cause on separate pages. Only ever refer back to your requests if you really need to and if it brings up positive thoughts. Writing down the cause acknowledges it and helps clear it from your thoughts. You can throw them away or burn them once you have written them down.

Some things to be aware of:
Forget the How's, When's and Where's, It's not your job!

Another thing that can prevent you from receiving what has been asked for is contemplating the ‘How, when and where’ your request will come from. Don’t do this because these are also thoughts and they may contradict your request by changing what you have asked for. It also demonstrates a level of ‘disbelief’ and ‘doubt’. ‘Ask believing, with the anticipation of it coming and it will be delivered’.

When you are thinking thoughts of ‘where is it’, ‘when’s it going to come’, ‘how’s it going to arrive, you have become misaligned with your larger non-physical’ part and what you have asked for.

The contrasts you experience here on the physical plane is what caused you to ask for something different in the first place and it is that larger ‘non-physical’ part of you that takes your new request and begins to manifest it for you. You have to be in alignment with that non-physical part of you and what you have asked for ‘BUT’ you often aren’t because you focus on the ‘How’s, when’s and where’s’ and this puts focus on the ‘why’ you asked in the first place!

Remember the ‘How’s, when and where’s’ is step 2 and down to the Universe so leave well alone!

Time Frames

If you want you can also specify a ‘time window’ into your request. In our example we could ask for:

1.    I want a reliable Ford Mondeo, 2.0Ltr, blue with leather upholstery within the next 3 months;
2.    I want an income in excess of £25,000 per year by the end of the year;
3.    I want to be in a relationship with someone who appreciates me as much as I do them; loves me as I do them; is independent; financially secure and has similar interests. I’d like to be with my new partner within 6 months.

The main drawback in setting a ‘time window’ is that you will have a different expectation, which will hinder the manifestation of your wants.

“Setting expectations can lead to disappointment, an unwavering belief cannot”

You will send out mixed messages. ‘Why isn’t it here yet’, this can take you back to why you asked for it in the first place. Also the Universe sometimes sends you opportunities, events, people or maybe a book that you should read. If you don’t take action on these opportunities, it will delay the materialisation of your request. Watch out for them, they are important. Use your gut feeling. It is always the first one you feel.

Start off with small things

When you start using the Law of Attraction deliberately, it is always best to start off asking for small things, things that feel possible for you to achieve. This will build confidence and strengthen your belief in what you are doing. If you ask for things that seem ‘out of reach’ they will cause you to struggle in believing they are possible causing you to go back to the ‘why’s’ and taking you out of alignment. Doubt will set in. Once you have mastered the smaller things you can move it up a notch!

You can't change 'Others'

You cannot use the Law of Attraction to change other people or things. You cannot ask for a specific person to be your partner. For example, I want a relationship with Johnny who works in the bakery. It just doesn’t work like that. Doing this could change what is in your life adversely and you’ll end up with negative results.

This also applies to a new job. You can’t ask for a new position with a particular company as this might not be what the Universe sees as the best for you.
Remember, the Universe always works towards giving you the best it can and a match to your thoughts, so if you asked for someone that was already in a happy relationship or happy as they are, then you are trying to disrupt their life and this will only be detrimental to you. Trying to obtain a job with a specific company may mean someone there has to lose their position. Again this will be detrimental, so avoid making requests that could change another person or thing.

Watch out for these:

Don’t pass blame to someone or something else as this takes away your power to resolve the issue or problem, as you believe someone else has to. Blame is also saying you’re not responsible for your experience.

Avoid anger. When you are angry at someone or something then they have control over you. Only by releasing your anger will you release their control.

If you are resentful you are out of alignment with who you really are. Resentment is a result of your perceived wrong doing or inability to deal with a situation, event or experience, such as an injustice, humiliation, emotional rejection, being put down, belittled, deliberately embarrassed, ignored, discrimination, being taken advantage of, prejudice, envy or jealousy. Resentment can begin in your early years. As a child you may have been unequipped emotionally to deal with parents or other family members.

When you are resentful you are probably harbouring other emotions as a result. If you are harbouring any resentment use muscle testing to uncover any beliefs and feelings that have been instilled because of it and tapping and Theta Healing to relieve them.

Don’t criticise others. When you criticise you are telling yourself that you do the same. If you think you do not then you soon will because you are attracting it! Criticism is telling you, you already have it in your experience. You can’t have something in your experience and not be responsible.

“If you are critical of successful people you can’t be successful”. Some criticise those that are wealthy and successful. You can’t be critical of the things you want! Allow others to do, be and have what they have asked for!

It’s beneficial to accept whatever is in our lives at any given time whether you dislike it or not. You have created your experiences. It is the contrasts from these experiences that create our new requests. It also says to the Universe that you are grateful for your experience and that you have taken responsibility and accepted what you have asked for.

Remember if you are asking for something like a really flash car or a really big house you will need the funds to run them so always make sure you specify this or ask for it. You don’t want to lose what you have just received!

As we live in a ‘Time / space’ based reality, don’t worry if you are not feeling comfortable with your thoughts about what you ‘want’ or have asked for. Understand that thoughts don’t have an instant manifestation. You have a ‘buffer zone’ of time between the asking and the receiving. Keep practicing looking for good thoughts that make you feel better and happier and little by little you will start to feel more comfortable with your thoughts and learn to draw them in the direction you want.

The Universe is a source of ‘Well-Being’ which is constantly flowing to you ‘unless’ you are doing something to ‘nip-it-off!’. Remember our thoughts attract like for like so when we complain, criticise, pass blame or think negatively on any given subject then you are attracting more of the same. Thoughts create, always choose the good ones.

Don’t talk to others about the things you want to do, be or have, especially when you are starting out with all of this. And especially before you have mastered directing your thoughts towards the things you want, bringing yourself into alignment.

How often have you come up with an idea, something new you want to try or even a change in career? As soon you tell someone one of the first thing they will say is ‘you’re mad’, ‘what’s wrong with what you’re doing’, ‘what at your age!’

Remember when someone says you ‘can’t’ it is usually a fear they hold! In many cases this can be valid like a parent advising a child. However, more often than not it’s because they themselves wouldn’t do what you want to do because they are fearful of it.

These are all negative comments that can influence you and your thoughts adversely if you let them.

Take 100% Responsibility

Because we create our world through our thoughts and feelings then it has to be true that every experience, circumstance and event was created by us and no one else. Knowing this gives us total power to create the world we want to experience! We are 100% responsible for everything in our lives. Isn’t that a wonderful realisation, we are 100% in control of our lives. This has to be a good thing!

Now you might say your circumstances have been created by your Government, a friend or relative or even something you have seen on the television. Well that could be true if you have allowed them to influence your thoughts, feelings and beliefs. This applies to anyone and anything. Whatever you allow to influence your thoughts will control your outcome and if it is ‘what you don’t want’ therefore undesirable then you’re no longer in control!

When you listen to the News and read the news papers you are bringing their reports in to your reality. If these are not pleasing stop listening and reading them! Try it for a month and see how much better you feel.

Take responsibility for everything in your experience as it was you that created it and brought it into your reality. Just by doing this will start to create a better feeling. You now have the means to change what you don’t want for what you do!

Acceptance of your circumstances whether perceived as good or bad tells the Universe that what you asked for was delivered and you are thankful for it. All you need to do is just say ‘I accept this, thank you’.

All Contrasts Stem from our Relationships

This section is to emphasise how and where your contrasts occur and the importance of taking your attention off those that caused you to want something in opposition to your current experience of them.

All your contrasts whether liked or disliked are the results of the relationships you have. We all have many relationships from various areas of our lives. We have relationships with family members, friends, partners, wife’s, husbands, children, work colleagues, pets, items of clothing, furniture, Governments, vehicles, homes, animals, plants, foods, electronic appliances and many, many more.

It is from these relationships that our contrasts occur and all these relationships are in our experience because they were invited in through your thoughts and feelings whether known or not.

Nothing in your experience was ever put there because it wasn’t asked for by you. This is very important to understand, be aware of and accept. It is in our awareness and acceptance that we then gain the power to change them.

If we have a dislike of some foods, family members, animals, furniture items, electronic appliances etc and our focus of attention is maintained on these then we keep them in our experience. The opposite is also true. If we keep our attention and focus on the things we want that occurred from our relationships then they will become part of our experience.

If you want a better relationship with your partner then focus your attention on what it is you want to make it better, giving thanks as if they are already in your experience.

With the example given above with the car, maintain your attention on what you want and give thanks as if you already have them in your experience.

Many of the relationships you have may cause you to want to influence or control them. When you seek to control or influence any relationship in an attempt to gain what you want you are actually keeping yourself away from it because whether you know it or not you are focused on what you don’t want. The more you push against the things you don’t want the more they will be in your experience. You cannot push against anything you don’t want and expect them to leave your experience the Law of Attraction doesn’t work like that. You have to focus on things you want to experience them. Any form of control, influence or persuasion of another person, thing or situation in an attempt to gain what you want is focused attention on what you don’t want.

Use your emotions. The emotions you feel between the wanting and the not having is your emotional variance to the experiencing of your desire. Look for those thoughts and feelings that narrow the gap towards what you want; maintaining an unwavering belief with the expectation and anticipation of it coming and you will experience them.

If only a part of what you have asked for has been delivered then you know you didn’t narrow the gap enough or you may have changed your expectation on your desire born out of your relationship. Everything in your experience is the result of ‘Your’ emotions, thoughts and feelings. No one else can change or create your experiences unless you let them. 

Become aware of your thoughts, feeling and emotions to any relationship you have and change them to match the things you want. Use the tools provided on this site to help bring them into your experience.

Keep your thoughts in Vibrational match to your desires

Thoughts are real things. They are as real as the ground you walk on. They are vibrations that attract like for like.

Everything we have written about above is to ultimately bring your thoughts into a vibrational match to your desires the things you have asked for and want to experience in your life.

When we are focusing our thoughts on what we want; maintaining an unwavering belief that our requests are on their way; using our emotions to guide us in a positive direction; being precise on what we ask for; avoiding the thoughts that caused us to ask in the first place; staying in alignment with our non-physical part; uncovering and changing limiting beliefs; using visualisation and gratitude we are bringing our thoughts into a vibrational match to our desires, the things we want and deliberately asked for.

Everything that exists has a vibration, including your thoughts. Whatever your thoughts are a vibrational match to will be drawn to you, whether asked for deliberately or not, good or bad. Whatever your thoughts are a vibrational match to will become part of reality. New acquaintances, opportunities, relationships, wealth, poverty, holidays, jobs, unemployment, property, cars, books, ideas, if these match your thoughts then they will be experienced by you.

How many of you have ever experienced thinking of a friend you haven’t heard from in a while and suddenly the phone rings or you receive a call within the next few days from the very friend you were thinking of?

Your thoughts were in a vibrational match to your friend.

Have you ever been looking for some information and a book catches your eye - one that you wouldn’t have thought of picking up but has the very information you were looking for?

Do you have different groups of friends? See if you can spot what similarities each group has.

See if you can spot similarities in the relationships you have.

Both the above will give you an indication to what your thoughts are a vibrational match to.

Everything in your physical experience is a vibrational match to your thoughts, without exception. Your thoughts create your reality.

By keeping your thoughts in a vibrational match to the things you want to experience, you will experience them.

If you wanted to lose weight and could bring your thoughts into a vibrational match to this desire you will lose weight.

How many of you have ever complained about your job, your salary, the salaries of others, criticised your management, your boss? If you were to take another job with a different company or even change your role within the same one, you would again find similar things to moan about and criticise. You could move to the other side of the world to take up a new role and you would again attract similar things to complain about. It is necessary to change your thoughts to a vibrational match to the things you actually want from your job.

Give thanks for your job, to your management, your boss, the salary you receive and you will attract more to be thankful for in your working life.

If you are not happy where you are, you won’t be happy wherever you go unless you are in a vibrational match to the things that make you happy. It is the Universal Law of Attraction which says “that which is like unto itself is drawn”.

Keep your thoughts in vibrational match to your desires. Maintain an unwavering belief that what you have asked for is on its way; think positive thoughts, thoughts of prosperity, thoughts of gratitude, thoughts of love, thoughts of kindness, thoughts on what you want in your life. Do whatever keeps your thoughts in a vibrational match to the things you want to experience, backed up with feelings and emotions and you will experience them.

To Summarise:

The three steps when using the Law of Attraction are: (Ask, Believe, (Take Action) Receive).

•    Step 1. You ask for what you want - Know what you want and ask the universe for it. This is where you need to be absolutely clear and precise on what it is you want to create and then visualise it being as 'real' as possible in your experience already.

•    Step 2. Act as if your desire is on its way. Feel and behave as if it is. Focus your thoughts on what it is you want to attract. Use positive language to feel the feeling of really 'knowing' that what you desire is on its way, even if you have to trick yourself into believing it.

•    Step 3. Be in alignment and open to receiving what you have asked for. Pay attention to your intuitive messages; synchronicities; ‘signs’ from the Universe that have been sent to help you along the way and give assurance that you’re on the 'right' path. And take action where necessary. As you align yourself with the Universe and open yourself up to receiving the thing you have asked for it will happen.

The blocks that generally prevent our requests materialising are Beliefs which are created by ‘the thoughts we keep thinking’. Use affirmations to help change these and the memory testing to uncover your current beliefs that may be in conflict with what you want;

Act as if you already have what you have asked for. This is the basic rule of the Law of Attraction which says, “that which is like unto itself is drawn”. Be what you desire. Then do whatever you have to in order believe and feel as if you already have what you want, bringing you closer to your desires and you will experience them in your reality.

Our emotions are the indicators on how we feel. Use them. They are our inner guidance system. Use the emotional scale above or the 0 to 10 method to find where you are and work on bringing yourself down to zero.

Are you open to receiving? Watch out for the little things, compliments, someone offering help; offering to pay for your meal. Use one of the muscle testing methods to check, “I am open to receiving” or “I am open to receiving (name of what it is)”.

Everything that you have ever asked for from the minute you were born that hasn’t ever materialised is still waiting for you to become aligned with it and your larger non-physical part and once you do it will flow right into you reality.   

Be precise about what you ask for. Avoid asking for a specific person if it’s a relationship you‘re after;

Think positive thoughts on any given subject. There is always something to be positive and grateful about;

Be thankful and grateful for what you already have. Gratitude is a great way to help materialise what you have asked for.

Once you make your request you must take your focus and attention off the reasons that caused you to ask, as these are things you don’t want.

Don’t contemplate the ’how’s, where’s and when’s’. Contemplating these will cause you to have thoughts of ‘Disbelief’ and ‘Doubt’ and prevent you from experiencing what you have asked for. Leave this to the Universe. It’s not your job.

Start by asking for small things, ones that seem possible to you. This will build confidence and your belief in what you are doing. You can then move it up a notch!

Don’t blame others for your experiences. You created them so keep your power to resolve them;

You’re The Producer, Director, Script Writer, the Movie Maker! What movie are you playing in your mind today? You wrote that script. If it’s not what you want, edit it to something you do!

Keep yourself in alignment with who you really are. Become a cooperative component with your non-physical part. Watch out for the ‘little changes’ that happen as you become more in alignment. Avoid criticism, anger, doubt, blame, guilt, resentfulness towards yourself and others.

Are you open to receiving? Use one of the muscle testing methods to check, “I am open to receiving” or “I am open to receiving (name of what it is)”

Keep a record. Write down what you have asked for. Make it as descriptive and as precise as you can. Write down the emotions you will feel when it’s in your experience. Use it for your visualisation.

Don’t criticise others. Criticism tells you, you are the same and will prevent you from having what you want! If you think you are not, then you soon will be because you are attracting it! Stay in alignment with the things you want. Criticism takes you out of alignment.

All your contrasts are born from the relationships you have, regardless of who or what that relationship is with.

When you seek to control, influence or persuade another person, thing or situation in an attempt to gain what you want it is focused attention on what you don’t want.

Don’t talk to others about the things you have asked for or the changes you want to make. Remember when someone says you ‘can’t’ it is usually a fear they hold!

Nothing can influence your thoughts or beliefs unless you let them!

Keep your thoughts in vibrational match to your desires, maintaining an unwavering belief that what you have asked for is on it’s way, backed up with feelings and emotions and you will experience them in your reality.

And above all have ‘FUN’ with all this. Life is supposed to be a fun experience, make it so!
